Some of the supplies you may want to have on hand before you bring home your new puppy:

A collar and leash, I recommend a small, lightweight collar and leash. You will have to get a bigger one after a few weeks, so get something inexpensive. If it's too heavy he will not want it on.

I recommend buying two crates. I use a Petmate Pet Porter for the car. The size should be about 26x19, you can get one at Petco or Petsmart. Also, I suggest a wire crate that is a little bigger; some of them come with dividers so you will be able to use that when the puppy grows. The crate I use is Precision, 3 feet by 2 feet (22 inches). You will need to divide this for a new puppy, or use a smaller crate to housebreak.

The puppies are eating Nutro, Natural Choice, Large Breed Puppy Dry Kibble. I also get that at Petco.

Plenty of chew toys, I do not recommend rawhide.
